| I'm currently a student in my last semester studying for my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
Art has always been a passion and hobby for me. I didn't persue it as a career becuase I didn't want to loose my love for it by over doing it. Engineering is just as fun for me, and I get to apply a bit of creativty to my work too.
I have been drawing for a long time...
I have been around the internet with my art since I was 13, starting with Elfwood.
I started drawing Anime style in middle school, when I was about 12 or so. It helped me advance but has been a bit of a curse to get away from. I seriously started sculpting only a few years ago, over the summer of 2004. Most of what I know about both I've picked up on accident, online tutorials or the few art classes I've taken.
My 2D art is made both traditionaly and digitally. My favorite medium currently is COPIC markers but I play with just about anything I can get my hands on. I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for my digital art, and a Wacom Graphire (original! oldschool!) tablet.
My sculptures are made primarily from Sculpey polymer clay over wire armatures made of aluminum, steel and crumpled aluminum foil. Sculpey FIRM is about the best thing to happen to my sculpting hobby since, well I discovered I wasn't half bad at it. I've also used stoneware clay, Apoxie Sculpt, and odds 'n' ends around the house. I want to get into mediums like Plastalina and Chavant.
I hope to get into molding eventually, as well as realistic fantasy mounts using faux fur and styrofoam.
